However, disc player resulted in TV screen going blank in the middle of DVD's for a second or so in the middle of programs, in some cases multiple times. Menu for multi episode DVDs often didn't play. Software wouldn't update through wifi which Samsung customer support (called several times) attributed to higher than usual call volume (for a week), server problems (for a week), and in one case the guy blamed my TV (ironically also a Samsung). Customer support was not very helpful. Sound quality was mediocre and wireless rear speakers almost useless. However, the blank screen experience and inability to get this fixed made the unit useless and I returned it since it was defective. My guess is that Samsung has not developed the software and that their home theatre units should be avoided.
